Steven Berkowitz graduated from the prestigious Boston University Law School and was admitted to the state bar in 1986. Boston University Law School is consistently ranked as one of the top law schools in the nation and has exceptional programs in business law, tax law, healthcare law. At Boston University, Mr. Berkowitz earned the prestigious Joseph Tauro Scholarship for superior academic achievement. After graduating, he coached the BU Law mock trial team, leading the team to numerous successes. Prior to law school, Mr. Berkowitz attended the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor where he earned his B.A. degree and won the University of Michigan debate competition.
Over the course of his 30+ year legal career now, Mr. Berkowitz has acquired extensive trial experience in litigating personal injury, real estate, business and employment disputes, insurance bad faith, predatory lending, and other tort and contract law matters. In the more than 45 trials he had handled, Mr. Berkowitz has achieved tremendous success, and has an impressive track record of successful settlements and trial verdicts in numerous areas of law. He has won several multi-million dollar verdicts for both plaintiffs and defendants. His significant analytical skills, coupled with his tenacity and advocacy abilities, have resulted in many long-term client relationships.
